It's weird because I stopped playing ffx to watch this conference, so when I heard the ffx theme, I didn't think anything of it till I saw the logo on screen. I'm a little sad that we won't get X-2 it seems.

We get a remake of X but not 9? or 7? or most importantly...6??? COME ON SQUARE!!!!! Theres a legion of idiots who never played any final fantasy before 7 and know nothing about KEFKA!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I love VI, but maybe it's just upscaled from the PS2 version. Which needs much less work than a whole remake.

I think they chose X because
A: it's cheaper than any of the previous versions to remake
B: the most popular of the FFX/x-2/12, I think this is just to test the waters.

I agree. I love FFX anyway. I know they'll make a real FF VII remake eventually, and the more they make us wait, the better it'll be.
