Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Sadness delayed into 2009

All I know is that Conker's Bad Fur took ages to be released and was very good.
I wish this game turn up into one of those cases.

I'm surprised that there'd be news of a Sadness delay, as I thought the writers strike would interfere with the sitcom that is Nibris.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

What I want to know is why people even cared to start with.

Think the reason people cared at all is that it'd be cool to see a game with enemies like Yaga Baba,

Plus the game exists, and it is psychological as promised, however; it is not a video game, it is a macho head game, "Nibris" gets a kick out of people continueing to pay attention of their overtly obvious vapor ware

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if Too Human can make it out of development...

Seriously, though, I'm not going to be convinced that the game is even in development until I have footage and impressions from a reputable site. Until then, the game remains a rumour.

The following website has a pretty good timeline for Sadness. What I find kind of strange is that Nibris isn't a Nintendo Licensee so it's extremely unlikely that they have Wii development kits. I also seem to remember having arguments about Nibris in which I said they were full of sh** and that Sadness will never be released, I still stand by those statements.

I think Nibris does have a Nintendo license, or at least did at some point. Sadness is a wonderful idea for a game and hopefully a publisher will snap it up -- if Nibris is actually competent enough to develop software. So far we haven't really seen anything except a short video of what may or may not have been ROTR.

News would be a Sadness release date not a Sadness delay. A delay is just what people expected anyway.
