Back in 2010 square-enix registered finalfantasyxiii-2.com and in january 2011 the game was revealed 

now it happens all over again pointing out that xiii-3 is not even a rumour

wow...that is a surprise...I know it did okay here, but in Japan its still a hit...I know they are getting it

Square has a ton of IPs, they really need to stop milking Final Fantasy. I would say before it's too late but FFXIII and FFXIV have already been released.

I'm starting to believe that Squeenix are not intentionally screwing their fans over like I initially thought, but that they have this ideal image of their fans in their heads that makes them genuinely believe they have an audience that adore them, and will accept everything they do.

Release a game before start talking about a new ffs.

It's not really milking, it's just too many teams have been working on different games and they are all releasing at once.

Considering the fact that each Final Fantasy entry is different means that it is not milking. They could put a different title on each and every game if they want to. Call of Duty is milking. If Square started churning out sequels to XIII every year then we could re open this dicussion.

I also don't think they are milking FF but i do feel that they should make sure they get the games back to what they used to be and not take (potentially) 3 iterations to try and make a flawed game great... Get on with announcing the release date for Versus XIII and then move on to XV and please listen to your fans for this one!!

Doesnt really seem likely to me. Though as wagram said it wouldn't be milking really.
