5 years ago, I would've said Need For Speed, but that franchise is dead to me now. Mario Kart would've been my choice 8-10 years ago, but Diddy Kong Racing and Crash Team Racing are better games. Jet Moto and F-Zero aren't on the list, so that leaves Gran Turismo.

Side Note: Anybody remember that Star Wars racing game on the N64? That game was the shit.

well i've never play gt forza

need for speed is the main one on the list i've play'd with mario kart having a legendary lead over the rest but right now i'd say mod nation racers. hey it does it all and i'd love a sequal.

Imo Racing Sim, Arcade Race and Kart Race are 3 different genres:
Racing Sim:
-I can't choose between Forza and GT. I had more great memories with GT but right now a prefer Forza.
Arcade Race:
-Tie between Sega Rally and Ridge Racer, Burnout comes 2nd. I'd also like to metion Lotus Turbo Challange...it's trivial by today standards but I enjoyed the hell out of it on Mega drive.
Kart race:
1st. Mario Kart, 2nd. CTR, Even tought it's not a kart racer the Micro Machines series used to be great in multiplayer.
