Forums - General Discussion - Bilingual people: What language do you *think* in??

So I was about to reply to this thread when I sorta noticed something amusing. Even though I'm totally bilingual (native proficiency in two languages), the only one I actually *think* in is English

It's funny cuz my parents aren't native english speakers and they're originally from a non-english country

So @native bilingual people: What language do you think in??

PS: Just in case you were wondering, my other language is Arabic and I'm originally from a place called Jordan :p (so tiny lol XD)

Forget where I read this, but the language you speak in your dreams (bilingual people of course) is your primary language.

The same perhaps could be said about thought.

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

I know Russian (parents' lang amd my mother tongue), English (unofficial mother tongue), Hebrew (I live in Israel), and some French.
I think in Russian.

Believe it or not, I think in both English and Arabic. Moreso in English, though.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

I speak three languages and I'm learning a fourth. I'm native in two.

As I said in the other thread, I don't actually pronounce words in my head, the ideas are concepts.

When I dream, the language I speak depends entirely on who I'm talking to in my dream.

Mostly English, sometimes Spanglish.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

40% english,60% romanian

My native languages are 2 (Spanish and Catalan) and I do my best with English.

When I'm here I try to think in English as it's easier to post.

In "real life" I mostly think in Catalan except when I'm really angry, then I use Spanish, don't ask me why but to me, insults sound better (or worse, depends on how you look at it) in Spanish.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I wish I new another language. I've been wanting to learn spanish for years,a goal that I've worked at for alittle bit, then put it on the back burner all my life.

Yeah, in Basque happens the same. We don't have any actual swear words, so if you want to swear you have to do it in Spanish.
