Somebody needed to metaphorically shoot George Lucas a long time ago. (Someone needs to metaphorically shoot Shigeru Miyamoto today.)
I wish I had not got the original trilogy on DVD when I did, but got the unruined version he released a few years later. No chance I want it on Blu-Ray with even more stupid changes.

This is god damn awful, it seems he eructs its 'no'. Or it's a Teddy bear's 'no'.
Already switched my pre-order to Jurassic Park Trilogy bluray. Lets just hope they don't screw that up some how ... digitally replace the dinosaurs with orcs or something.
Stupid because unlike many of the other edits he's done thus far, this one fundamentally alters how that scene will be interpreted. I was never like the rabid idiots that booed and hissed at the CG touch-ups, and the changes to Boba Fett's voice, while pointless, at least didn't effect the story, but this...

It's not the first time he alters a scene in a meaningful way. Remember Han Solo shot first.
I'm not a big SW fan (wasn't gonna get this anyway), but I can see why fans a pissed off. If they did that with my favourite movies I would be.

I'm so glad my BF still owns the original versions of these movies (even though they're on VHS). Stupid George Lucas!
