Forums - Gaming Discussion - Can we stop making threads about religious preaching and cultic crap?

This is isn't IlluminatiChartz you know...

what does it matter if there are "signs" of something or someone, somewhat  existed at sometime, and somehow being at someplace, somewhere...

+1 to the idea.
Nothing good ever comes from those *cough* discussions.

More pertinently, how about an end to the "religion vs. science" threads, since there's no good reason that those things should be opposed anyway?

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

have to agree i dont think ive ever seen another forum on the net with as much focus to religion and even politics as here, it was the last thing i would expect to see on a video gaming focused site

Thank you. THANK YOU! It's what I've been thinking ever since I first set foot into the forums. All the time I was wondering what was with all those threads about religion, atheism and god/big bang theory proofs.

Well there's a fairly large & passionate group of religion debaters. If they want to have their discussions, let them. I see no reason to tell people not to create thread that I don't like. As long as they post in the off-topics sections AND stay in their threads, then they aren't affecting me. I don't see a problem. Just mind my own business & skip over them when browsing through threads.

No problem.

Don't enter the threads. Problem solved.

I usually avoid threads that deal with PR people from MS, Sony, or Ninty saying something about a competitor since I see little good from those discussions besides fanboy wars. I think you could do the same here.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

I totally agree with you!
