Those pictures look shopped

Precisely! I'm not going to believe a word that comes out of those NASA liars until they take me on an all expenses paid tour of the Moon landing sites.

I've written to them so many times making this suggestion in order to finally settle the matter, but for some reason they've never been in touch with me. For some reason the receptionist has stopped taking my calls too.

Perhaps someone can put in a good word for me.

I see the joke about adding text to some images went waaay over your head. So high, in fact, that it jumped over the moon (which doesn't even exist).

Fake or not, NASA is getting more boring. They need a big drama in space asap!

Don't forget the lack of pictures....

That's understandable, you don't want to spread pictures of a dead body, not to mention that really would piss people off.

So hopefully this means Buzz Aldrin needs to punch less dickheads out

The man knows how to deal with conspiracy nuts, I could watch it all day.

hmm No and Yes, pictures of dead bodies of famous people are spread about a fair bit, was watching something on mob families the other day, plenty of famous mob Bodies were shown, sadam video was shown of him hanging, nothing was said then, but yes i guess it would fuel fundamentalists

I don't know about Bin Laden actually, I just watched a 1 and a half hour documentary on it, I'm pretty convinced. Especially the drone video footage of him, I don't think there are many other 6 ft 4 Bin Laden look alikes.

I can understand they didn't want to piss anyone off, but they should have done to him what they did to Saddam Hussein. After everything Bin Laden did, their priority is to treat his body with respect? They should have killed him their and then and taken his body back to America or taken him back to America alive and executed him.

After learning more about the operation, it is pretty fascinating what they did (and the actual dangers of the operation and the consequences if it goes wrong), but after all that they went through, they go and kill the world's most wanted man, it seems like a wasted opportunity.

What I think is "sillier" than people thinking the moon landing was fake, is that the heavily in debt US government is spending billions and billions of dollars each year on a manned mission to Mars; and how all of those who support it think that this landing will magically result in a means for people to terraform Mars and move our population there - meaning, for them, it is OK to trash our current planet because we'll all be going to a terraformed Mars soon anyway.

Completely ignoring that the manned mission to mars is already expensive enough for a small craft, what sort of expenses and resources will be required for colony ships to Mars? Why on Earth do you think a Terraformed Mars, which will both be colder, and with a lower gravity, would be superior to Earth? And how do you think it will be possible to terraform Mars?

Wouldn't just a little environmentalism be much much easier?

I think you completely misinterpret the intention of the mars missions. The scientists don't think: "Hey, let's polute the earth and simply move on to mars as soon as the situation here gets uncomfortable!"

If a bigger asteroid hits earth, all human life on earth will be extinct. And the question isn't IF it's going to happen, the question is WHEN this is going to happen: Next week? Next year? Next millenium? In several billion years? Nobody knows. Mankind will only have a chance of survival if by the time we have found a way to live on another planet or in space.

Currently, protecting the earth's environment is definitely more urgent, but that doesn't mean there is no sense in researching possibilities to populate other planets already now.

The thing is, Earth is the only planet in the solar system that is capable of sustaining multicellular life. If people are afraid of an asteroid hitting the earth, then it would be FAR easier developing technology to prevent an asteroid from hitting the earth then it would be to terraform and travel to another planet. First of all, as far as science has shown, Earth is the only suitable planet for the survival of multicellular life.

The US put 19 billion into NASA this year, that's 19 billion the US couldn't afford, and 19 billion that could have gone A LOT further in developing useful pro-environmental technology. The best thing we have got out of NASA are margarine and tang; and was that really worth the 800 billion dollars that they have been funded over the decades?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

So many here say only a moron would think the moon landing was faked.

I for one believe it was. I know others that believe the same whom I certainly don't consider 'morons'.

Not that I believe it makes a difference (though some will); I have a degree in theoretical physics, a post grad in nuclear physics, have read hundreds of books on psychology and philosophy and know 4 languages.

@Dr.Grass

Ok if you think it was faked then tell why. And do you believe the truth wont come out ? If yes why ? Wouldnt the US live in constant fear beeing discovered ? Also why has Russia done nothing to make this lie public ? Wouldnt you atleast agree that the US was on the moon placing the mirror and have telecommunication satellites around the moon so radiosignals recieved by radiotelescopes all over the world were able to recieve signals from the moon? Also do you suspect that all countries will back up this lie ? If yes why ?

If you dont want to talk about its fine. I am curios to read your answer though especially because you are a physicist. If you can explain yourself I will take back everything I said about people who believe that the moon landing was a fake and I might even change my current opinion about it.

Moon landings, plural. There were 6. Even if the first landing was faked to 'beat' the Russians, what about the other 5? Too much proof even without the use of Nasa pictures.

Hmm, pie.
