Forums - Politics Discussion - Do politicians and corporations care more about workers than union bosses?

my company fired two people in order to look better on paper for a report and then two weeks later opened both positions for hire and eventually filled them with unqualified (but cheap) entry level candidates.

anyone who thinks corporations have your interest in mind is wrong, very very wrong.

Unions is just a business in its self. If you want certain jobs you can't be hired unless you agree to be part of the union. Unions also can keep unqualified people in certain positions.

Who are the stakeholders in a union?  Usually organizations end up representing the interests of their stakeholders.

They are in it for a paycheck just like a business.  When I was in a union I had no option not to be part of it if I wanted the job.  The union didn't do anything for me except take money out of my paycheck.
