I didn't think FIFA would be this popular in the Americas, even with Latin America. Also, football (soccer) fans are heavily skewed in PS3's favor for some reason.

Dead Island doing decent.

U3 set to have a much bigger opening than U2.

Gears and CoD gonna be massive.

Nice for Gears of War 3! With all the stuff they're putting into that game, they deserve it!

The rest of the list doesn't have any real surprises, though with all the annoying CoD bashing from EA, I like seeing CoD get more pre-orders than BF.

And why are pre-order charts only for America? Why can't they also have EMEAA and Japan?

Most likely because it's difficult to track pre-orders in those countries.

By any chance, do you know how they track pre-orders? Or can I find the explanation somewhere in this site?
