Renting R3 because the beta played like shit and the story from R2 is complete trash. I'm glad Insomniac's done with this franchise because then they can focus on a franchise that they milked since the PS2 days. Maybe Sony can salvage whats left of what was a good shooter from people who destroyed it.

Oh yeah I haven't given up, I'm still gonna get the game (buy or rent) and beat it. Its just sad to hear that some people already didn't like it. Out of respect for Fall of Man I can't quit before finishing the trilogy!

The whole franchise is dissapointing. I don't understand how they go from making very high quality games like Ratchet and Clank, to Resistance. I really wanted to like this series and for me it was a big draw when I thought about buying a PS3 but they kinda suck imo.

Thats my exact opinions of the Halo franchise. I never understood how a Halo game got scored in such high quality when they are really pieces of trash IMO of course. Thats why I love the Resistance series. It managed to bring a quality the Halo Franchise just couldn't bring. All to our own I suppose. Heres hoping Bungie manage to make their first good game with this multiplat title of theirs.
