Is Union Jack the name of the English Flag? or am I just dumb and missed everything in this thread?

No your just like most Americans who think the UK, England, British is all the same thing

I am not trying to be rude, but I did think it is all the same? And for the other guy what is union Jack then?

The Union Jack is when the Union Flag is flow at the bow of a ship (when a flag is flown at a bow it is often called a 'Jack').  And don't worry about not knowing the difference between the U.K, Great Britain and England, here in the U.K many people do similar by thinking Holland = The Netherlands, similar to how people abroad think that England or Great Britain = the U.K.

Patriotism is something, I could careless about the country selfish pride. Why ? because they make invisible frontiere between humain.

I didn't know either, although I did know about it being the union flag, not jack. See my avatar for country of birth.

Why no Wales on the flag though?

"Wales had no explicit recognition in the Union Flag as it had been a part of the Kingdom of England since being annexed by Edward I of England in 1282 and its full integration by the Laws in Wales Acts 1535–1542, and was therefore represented by the flag of England.[15]"

Wales was already considered a part of England when the Union Flag was being created. (even nowadays Wales still acts under English Parliament, while Scotland and N.Ireland in some cases have their own rules and laws)
