Um I actually used these and I'll say, while cool, it's not too impressive. That "150 inch" at 6 feet away is lies really. It was cool that things were in 3D, but everything was soo tiny.  Like I was using those things that had a feed from Killzone 3 and I could barely make out what was going on.

Maybe 150 inches is exagerate, but it shouldnt be tiny either. Are you sure you adjusted it correctly?

The Sony rep gave them to me, can't say if they calibrated them properly or not, but I'm sure they were.

Ok, im surprise because my HMD is somewhat old and it isnt small (equivalent of 50 inches at 6 feets), I would have to look at both screen size to know what to expect.

In a mere four sentences, you totally killed my hype. :(

Sorry :(.  Like I'm sure if there's some kind of convention near by you Sony will have them on display.  But there was one thing that I thought was really cool, you could play stuff on a T.V. and then use the glasses and watch everything that another person was doing.  Kinda like Remote Play, except someone else is playing.

Very interested. I think this could sell well in Japan and other places that has alot of small livable space where homeowners want to experience on a big screen but do not have the room size for a big screen TV.

Cool for bedrooms too. I can imagine some people will be using this to watch p*rn lol Those that live with their parent wont have to worry as much if they barge into your room as your watching lol....unless you're playing with yourself.

No reason for your hype to be dead, not to discredit this guy or anything, but damn near every other major publication or third party source which have tried these out vouches completely opposite to kryta's claim. So I wouldn't worry about it at all really. Don't let the hype die, dawg.

Im surprise about the statement too. I didnt try the Sony model specifically but normally, HMD always have a virtually big screen since your eyes are next to the screens. Maybe the nose adjustement wasnt alright and his eyes were too far from the screen. Being only a couple of centimeters farther then it should would make a drastic difference on virtual screen size.

Anyone knows what's the impact of looking at screens mere centimers in front of your eyes for extended period of time ?

I can't imagine this being too healthy for eyes if they need to focus on such unnatural distance.
