How do you get the Wiimote/sensor bar working with the PC. (yes, I know I could google it, but meh)

Wii sensor bar never "conects" or talks with anything. It only needs to be plugged in to Wii for power. Therefore you need to purchase a battery operated sensor bar from Nyko or similar and you're set. Wiimote works as it should as long as you have an IR reference point for it, no matter where you put it.

Is there a sensor bar that utlizes USB?

No, AA battery ones are your best bet. Or alternatively you can use 2 candles set up under your TV. True story... :)

meh... I don't know why I even ask. I won't do it anyways. In a year I'll buy a WiiU and put the Wii in another room for kids.... which is the only reason I was considering it... to let kids play in other room vs front tv.

Just a friendly reminder: this discussion is fine, but please don't post any links to the emulator or any ROMs that it can play, and do not request these links, as that violates the forum rules. Discussion of piracy (if you can call it that) is okay, but not direct links to it.

I can understand posting links to ROM's or ISO's, but Emulators are legal and have nothing to do with piracy, even downloading ROM's and ISO's is legal as long as you have the original copy.

As long as the Emulator doesn't come with games or the BIOS it's legal.

Edit: woops double post.

No actually, review your user manual, it is all very illegal.

Anywho, surprised at the progress with this emulator. They've done quite a bit of work to get this amount of perfection

Lots of things are legal, but if discussing / linking to those things violates forum rules, then they're not allowed.

I guess forum rules are different to the actual law.

You are right, I did get one thing wrong, you can't download the ROM / ISO, you have to play it directly or dump it yourself.

You can't even do that in some countries, since it constitutes copyright infringement - making copies of intellectual property without permission.

ahh, the candle trick. Used that on a party when my batteries for my wireless sensor bar were empty. Drunken as we were, we forgot the candles on the TV. The wax ran all over the TV and I had a hard time removing all that wax again.

next time put them under the TV... so that... well yeah you'd burn the TV so bad idea too ;op (or put them closer together and further in front of the TV ^^)

I believe france authorises personal copies of even music CDs and films (as in 1 copy can legaly be done)... and if I recall recent news I read I believe the UK is in the way (or discussion) for passing such law.

Anyways, my interest with Dolphin is 100% longevity of the system... it's a disc based console, so it's bound to fail sooner rather than later and in 10-15 year's time Dolphin will be the only way to play the games you own if your console failed. That and if I can get my wii games in 3D... it is really gonna start gathering dust :-p
