I was going to buy it, but my gf (big tales of fan) doesn't want to play it. She's more into the handheld psp/ds tales games though.

How can you be a big Tales of fan without having played the best Tales of games which are on consoles??

Pretty much this. Most of the good tales games are on consoles. Plus most of the handheld tales games never came out of japan. Unless of course she's imported the games and played them in japanese, otherwise she would probably only be playing TOW:RM1 on the PSP. 

I have Vesperia on the 360 and Graces on the Wii and she's played both of them. I'm in Japan and there are many handheld Tales of games, the 3 DS ones and all the ps1/ps2 ports to the psp as well as the radiant mythology psp games. She's Japanese so playing JP games in her native language is no problem.

That explains alot. Ahh, so lucky. 

So she basically doesn't want to play PS3 Tales of.. XD

It's most likely because she doesn't have a PS3 at her place, just a Wii and I gave her my COD: MW2 Xbox 360 (when I upgraded to the Halo Reach 360 S). The only time she would be able to play it would be on my PS3.
