Yes I would replay it in HD (with everything re-done, not just up-scale), but the touch screen controller is more trouble and less comfortable to me then pressing Y and keep looking at the same screen, let alone not having dual analog which is pretty much needed for those type of game. I would definitly stick to a classic controller. With that said, the idea to write side quest information on the controller is a very good, thumbs up. Multiplayer a la secret of mana is also a very good idea for this game.
sure this game is so big it's worht twice the cost of a regular game
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
I think nintendo should have just ported it to the wii U once they realised that such a title wasn't really revlevant for the vast majority of the wii audience. It should of been a wii U launch title with: improved graphics, frame rate, fewer load times. It could have been a great launch title and probably would have made them more money aswell both in sales and by providing the Wii U with a solid lauch.
They should have done the same for goldeneye instead of wasting it on the wii. This and xenoblade could have been the main core launch titles and rest could have been more casual games.

Hey maybe I should start another poll thread with this question: Would u rather wait for NOA to localise Xenoblade or wait for an enhanced version for WIIU?
The Wii audience would buy those games. They have bought those kids of games. It's just because of people not knowing what "niche" means in terms of potential game sales that it seems the Wii audience isn't buying them. If you look at the niche games on the other systems, they ALSO get niche sales. It's just there are fewer of them on the 360 on PS3 because of the cost. But on the DS and PSP, there are loads.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

If it sells, it sells. Its just that I think it maybe the best remake of a game ever with the features included.
Just make a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles on the WiiU. And since this will probably end up being the most popular game in its series, make the WiiU sequel continue the story of the same characters. But to answer your question, I will choose 'no'. If I play Xenoblade on Wii, I won't replay its remake on WiiU. If I don't play it on wii and a WiiU remake is made, I will get that instead. I usually only play remakes if I never played the original or if its reamde on a system 2 generations or more above the original.

Well from what I see the game is begging to be on WiiU. Note its a remake not just a port. So it will include new features of the WiiU. Features I think would make sense is as follows:
Redone HD graphics
Asymmetrical Co-op play(Secret of Mana style): One on the regular HD screen with classic control/nunchuck, the other on the WiiU control. Maybe even 3 player if WiiU supports it.
HUD on the WiiU control in single player: This will really help during battles and maps.
Taking notes on the WiiU controller: Think it would be really helpful for sidequests
Well I know most of yall who have it, probably isnt done with it yet. But from what you've played so far and new features included, would you?(Assuming you buy a WiiU of course.)
1) As if graphics were important...
2) Forget about it. The game wasn't designed for such a way of play, so it would need to get entirely redesigned.
3) This would make things only more confusing. The HUD needs to be on the screen you look at (which is the TV) and the minimap in its current form is sufficient. An RPG battle system on two screens can only be horribly broken, just look at The World Ends With You.
4) The game has a quest log which pretty much already contains any information that can be useful. For the rest, the pen and paper method has proven to be good enough in the last three decades.
Basically, they might as well make a whole new game instead of a remake.

maybe if Nintendo gamers ask nicely the WiiU can get a port of Goldeneye Reloaded
Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
