NFL playoff predictions (who will make the Super Bowl?)

Forums - General Discussion - NFL playoff predictions (who will make the Super Bowl?)

Redskins will beat seattle firsat round , second round they will go down to Irving, Texas to Texas Stadium and beet down their rival Dallas. I'm telling you guys right now this team will get to the super bowl for S. Taylor. this is a very good team after they beat Dallas they beat Green Bay in the NFC championship Game. they go to the Super Bowl and win. And im not to sure the team reresenting the afc will be the pats, I honestly think the colts have a great shot. remember NEW England barely beat the colts at indy and harrison didnt play the colts best wr . when indy goes to gillete stadium marvin harrison will be playing and remember the colts are the defending champs.

But anyways im callin' it right now Joe Gibbs, Todd Collins, and Clinton Portis will rally the troops and pull an upset off in the super bowl and beat the colts/pats. THEY WILL DO IT WITH MR. TAYLOR IN THEIR HEART GOOD DAY>

All I know is, GIANTS over Bucs!!!

The Bucs have by far a weak passing game, and that's where the Giants defense will come out and shine.

Hell would have to freeze over but GO GIANTS!!!!

I didn't read all the posts because I'm in a hurry, but I wanted to give my prediction.

You might call me crazy, but I can see Jacksonville coming out of the AFC. I just don't think the Patriots have enough gas in the tank to get past them or the Colts, but I honestly think the Jags have what it takes as long as they play their game (ball control and good defense).

In the NFC I don't see anyone beating Dallas in Dallas, home field is huge for them, if the Packers could have gotten it, they would have had a better chance to beat them in the cold weather, but I don't see anyone going into Dallas and keeping up with them. As long as Tony Romo can play good that is, if he has a meltdown, they're done.

So for the Superbowl I have Dallas v Jacksonville with Dallas coming out on top.

I'm really just sad that my Broncos were sub-par this year, I thought we had enough talent on both sides of the ball to do some good things this year, but our coaching (especially on the defensive side) brought us down.

I think it's the exact opposite actually. Texas Stadium is far from an intimidating place to play, and the Packers are developed around a fast, elusive core that utilizes the 4-5 WR spread offense.

Seattle winning at home is one of the safest bets you can make in the NFL too.

When they are playing a team that doesn't make the playoffs and doesn't have a winning record, of course its a safe bet

um, what?

I think he's pointing out that Seattle only seems impressive at home against shitty teams (those without winning records or records good enough to make the playoffs).

My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):

Wii : 50 million

360: 28 million

PS3: 24 million

These predictions were made on January 3rd and won't be revised

Yeah, for some reason, they generally play the shitty teams at home during the regular season, and somehow manage to play all the good teams away from home....weird how that works out?!!?

PITTSBURGH TAKES IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding. After the Steelers lose I really could care less who wins. Hey the Moutaineers beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. That was my super bowl.

Actuallythey only played three games all season against teams with a winning record and lost two of them, to the browns and the Steelers, the only team with a winning record they beat was the Bucs
