PS3 sees a 65% increase in the UK but only a 45% increase in EMEAA overall? Seems rather odd. Particularly in Australia where the cut was $150 (basically $200 with retailer markdowns).

Good bump for PS3. Surprise announcement of price cut and only $50 isn't going to get anything like the slim/price cut response. I will be surprised if PS3 drops below 150K before the end of year rise starts.
It's odd seeing Wii has the only home console represented in the top 10 SW and being in a statistical tie position for 2nd on HW. Shows the Wii install base is active in buying games. Actually I think the WW Wii tie ratio has gone ahead of PS3 for the first time in quite a while, if not this week then fairly recently.
The last bastion of 360 dominance over PS3 in continental Europe is about to fall:
