Hopefully the game will gain enough sales for NOA to pull their heads out of their asses and release this game here. I was going to download it, but I would still buy it if it came out in the US, as these games should be supported, and I'd rather have a hard copy anyway.
People just need to accept the fact that this is undertracked. It made it to both first and third (regular and collector editions) on the France chart. It's pretty much a mathematical impossibility for it to have only gotten a small shipment for that region for that type of chart placement.

mathmatical impossibility rofl, no. Chart placings mean nothing. It scored number 3 on UK charts and only did 6,600 units, so 2 places high on the french chart means it's a mathmatical impossibility to do 30k overall in EMEAA? I don't think so.
You need to accept the fact it did what it did.

30k seems perfectly in line with the UK sales of 6.6k which are the only actual numbers we have from another source. Even assuming France had a slightly higher number of sales than the normal distribution that could easily be countered by Italy not receiving this game at all until early September as France and Italy have around the same sales market assuming the software distribution of sales in EU matches that of the hardware.

BTW it sold quite well if you look at other JRPGs in europe: Demon's Souls 1st Week - 39k Demon's Souls LTD - 222k Valkyria Chronicles 1st Week - 7k Valkyria Chronicles LTD - 108k Tales of Vesperia 1st Week - 11k Tales of Vesperia LTD - 117k Resonance of Fate PS3 1st Week - 8k Resonance of Fate PS3 LTD - 159k Resonance of Fate 360 1st Week - 2k Resonance of Fate 360 LTD - 101k Monster Hunter Tri 1st Week - 73k Monster Hunter Tri LTD - 353k i think we can expect LTD sales in the range of 150K - 200K. |

The French market is about 2/3 the size of the UK market. 1st place in the UK was 33k. And France is much more JRPG-centric than pretty much any other western nation.
While this game was officially released in Norway, barely any copies were shipped.

You can't assume that the first place in France and the first place sales in UK are comparable numbers. Look at the disparity between first and second in the UK (33,000 and 8,000), Zumba Fitness is obviously an abirration. All you can say from France's rankings is that Xenoblade did better than OoT did that week in France which could mean a range of different numbers but does not directly correlate with 33,000 that Zumba got in the UK.
