Forums - Sales Discussion - UK Top 40: Zumba top, Zelda rises Xenoblade debuts in seventh

Eurogamer

Nintendo titles have assaulted the top 10, as niche 9/10 Wii-exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles turned up in seventh place.

Buoyed by the 3DS price cut, Nintendo's own Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D rose again, from 13th to fourth.

Unstoppable workout fad Zumba Fitness was top for a 10th consecutive week and 13th overall.

While Zelda's sales surge is good news for Nintendo - pre-price cut the game was languishing in 39th - it remains the only 3DS title on the chart.

The rest of the top 10 saw little change - Lego Pirates and Cars 2 remain in second and third, FIFA remains fifth and Lego Harry Potter stayed sixth.

Dirt 3 sank to eighth, ahead of Brink in ninth and L.A. Noire in 10th.

Well i am pleasantly surprised

You have to spin it to make it sound nicer:
"The second best selling exclusive game of the week!"

The only flaw of the game being that it isn't called "Final Fantasy."

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

So it will debut with less than 50k probably?

Number 3 in the individual charts.

Where are you getting 50k??

Very happy with these sales, hope Xenoblade Chronicles shows some legs

Nice to see homefront up there! 50,000 for the U.K alone for Xenoblade sounds pretty good! Cannot wait to see what the rest of the EMEAA has in store for us.
The chartz seem very strange to me right now? Aside from being mildly slow, and the 3DS. Anyone else feel that?

it sold less than 7k in UK
