or even 2010. Bayonetta is a good example of a 2010 game that was superior on 360. Thats not even including LIVE features over PSN

You know, your fanboyism gets more and more annoying every single day. I would never, ever purchase the $199 Xbox. That being said, the PS3 is currently $249 and the 360 is $299. On top of that, you will be paying $50 per year for Xbox Live. if you have the console for 5 years, you are paying $549 for the Xbox 360, and still just $249 for the PS3. Dam, it really is such a hard choice. Do I want to spend $249, or spend $549 so I can get a stupid CoD map pack 1 month earlier and have cross game chat. |
So its an issue of money? Nevermind that theres always sales on Live subscriptions, you can find one for $40 if you know where to look.
Guess its a question you have to ask yourself.....are you a gamer that pays for the best or are you a gamer that coasts on sub standard services for a lesser cost?
The question I ask is: Does Live have more features then PSN? The answer is yes, regardless of cost. Thats all I need to know to make my choice as to which service I play online.
I'm not convinced

That's not what this discussion is about though, it's about who has the best cross-platform experience, meaning who has the best experience when go across platforms. Sony has PSN on both the PS3 and PSP for example, where Microsoft has XBL on both the 360 and WP7. |
but...but...I thought that was just stupid wording! I didn;'t know you could play Cross platform on Xbox....I know Sony has PSN on the PS3 and PSP, as well as Steam integration and Dust integration, but what does Xbox have? what can you play with Xbox on PC?
My Console Library:
PS5, Switch, XSX
PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android
I understand COD but Fifa! Hell no Fifa is a better experience for the PS3 than 360. I always enjoyed Sport, Racing, Action games, and fighting games much more on the PS3 while I would prefer most FPS games for my 360.

I feel like I'm paying $60 a year just for cross game chat and a fancier danshboard. With 60 bucks I would be able to buy a new game. If it weren't for Halo and Gears my Xbox would be in the trash

plus cross game chat, party system, more headsets on Live then PSN, and overall having friends and what they are doing more accessible then PSN ever will be. But im sure you knew that....simply just slipped your mind im sure. |
Headsets can really get annoying sometimes. Especially on the Xbox.Everytime I go play on Halo I hear a 5-10 year old yelling "spread the religious beliefs of Halo and saying how the PS3 and Wii suck" I don't find the party system better at all and now days the accesibilty of a friend is much higher on the PS and it's pretty much on par now. VGKing is right.
Both are great consoles and have their plus sides and negative sides. Let's just leave this topic alone

good job, using... u found one game. there are always going to be exceptions. i could easily point out, Portal 2, Dead Space, Final Fantasy, Homefront, Brink, etc.
but those are all expceptions. 99% of multiplats since around 2008 have looked virtually the same, there are always going to be little differences but nothing signifacant. before around 2008, sure most games did look better on xbox
A few months ago there was an in-depth analysis of the actual $ value of all of the free content that PSPlus gave in the past 12 months. IIRC it was something like $600. Does anyone really think Gold offers even remotely the same value proposition?
