well your arguement made it seem like PS3 fans aren't as diverse as they claim! wht are you gettting at? i don't see your point.

your forgeting one thing. people buy the games they want and its that simple. i know i don't want to see games on a console dedicated to 1 genre. i only hate 2 genres and thats sports and RTS games, and i only hate 1 PS3 exclusive and that white night chronicles.

MS does not no wht there fans want either or i would own more the 4 games for there console. both companies pay other people to tell them wht the markets want and neither of them get it 100% right, so your point there makes no sense either.

LOL arent ps3 exclusives for 2011 already at cc 6.5 million or something.
And some1 posted(i dont remember is it on this forum or somewhere else) exclusive sales per years ps3s sold more in 2010,09,08 while 360 sold more in 2007. I believe it was without kinect, move games.

This happens mainly because there is more variety in Sony exclusives.There are loads of exlusives for pretty much every genre.Because of that,PS3's userbase rarely gives attention to one particular genre(FPS-COD),while on the 360's side it happens more often with gears of war,halo,COD games,making the console king of the FPS games.

And there's America.Games usually sale more in NA,and the 360 has a pretty huge lead over there.

This. i laugh at all the people who think preorders  give away the LTD sales. You could have preorder number of 2 million and only sell 2.5 million LTD, while another game has 500k preorders and sells over 3 million lifetime.

But my brain feels so clean! :)

Thats 47 MILLION More game copies in favor of the XB 360 !! ( or 278 million dollars ) .. And for anyone interested , click the above links and change the search parameters to look at 75 or 100 games on each console .. it looks even worse for the PS3/  more favorable the 360.. Games are listed first to last in order of 'most units sold to least  units sold' ..with TOTAL numbers sold tallied at the bottom right for worldwide..

Not sure about that when the best sellers on the system are all FPS multiplatfroms games. Hell Sony fans won't even buy the exclusive FPS on their own systems. So brainwash of not the 360 fans knows what they like, and go out and purchase them. The Sony fan is either cheap, undecided,or in deinal. We like to claim we have the most diverse console with the best exclusive, but we are not willing to support them. To be honest though this was been going on since the PS1. The games that sale the Playstation brand are never Sony made games.

There are more casual gamers on 360 than PS3
