i'm already in the middle of more then 10 games across 3 consoles(PS360,ps2) does it looklike i have time to go out a preorder a game?

also look at sells of games that have been out for 4 yrs and you'll see that most of the sell are near even for multi-platform games.

i believe it has something to do with amount of features the 360 exclusive have, the amount appeals to a wide range of gamers

look at a games like gears and halo this gen

coop campaigns (really early with gears at 06 got the ball rolling)

other things like survival type modes that are playable even offline with those games, appeal to gamers that like solo play and even have no online thats why COD goes the extra mile with its offerings like zombie mode, spec ops, combat training

amount of marketing can also play into this aswell

wrong!! that cuz due to xbox has less exclusive while ps3 has wider range of games to choose from PS gt5 outsold gear of war 2

I strictly use my ps3 for the sony exclusives, So Im doing my part guys!!

PS3 sold 408 million SW sinces its release while 360 sold 360M at the same time frame as PS3.

And I agree with what was stated earlier that MS does a megaton of marketing in comparison. In terms of ad money spent it is MS>>>>>Sony>>>Ninty

well there is a 10+ mil gap between the PS3 and the 360(with the 360 being in the lead) in the NA so that why pre-orders and initial sales are mostly always in the 360's favor.

Americas region has a 5 to 3 ratio of 360's to PS3's, but still most 360 games out favor PS3 games by 2 to 1 or more (especially exclusives).

Mass Effect > Uncharted because a) sci-fi more popular in Americas, b) largely 360 oriented game, and again 5-3 360's to PS3's.

As for Halo and Gears, Americas gamers love multiplayer games more then the rest of the world. A lot more. Any good multiplayer games will sell well in Americas, even Call of Duty on PS3 is up there.

However what about non multiplayer multi console games? Well Elder Scrolls has a bigger base on 360 (since Elder Scrolls III was an X-Box exclusive, and IV was ported to PS3 late).

As for Rage and Deus Ex, they barely made the list for 360, with a much smaller install base, why would they make it for PS3?

The only game that's a bit off is Assassin's Creed. AC should have 140 or so pre-orders for PS3, maybe it's just off the list? I know PS3 games pick up more closer to launch, and 360 pre-orders typically pre-order strongly from announcement.
