CyberConnect 2 has opened a new teaser site. It’ll reveal a new title a week from today, according to its message.

“This page is opened 7 days after,” reads the site, suggesting it will launch in seven days.

CyberConnect 2 is best known for their work on the Naruto franchise. They’re currently developing Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations for Namco Bandai and Asura’s Wrath for Capcom.

EDIT

Namco Bandai is teasing a new .hack project. The official Japanese website for the series was updated with a new teaser image, which claims a “new website” will open on August 23. In the upper right corner of the image, it says “.hack New Project.”

CyberConnect 2, who usually develop the series, launched a teaser site today, as well, which also ends on August 23. It’s possible that their countdown and this .hack teaser may be one in the same.

Then again, they might be completely unrelated. Stay tuned.

Its nice as long as they dont once again release a story and gameplay that fit on 1 game as 3-4 different games... I played and liked the .HACK series, but its by far the worst milking in video game history. Im not going to purchase the next one if they start anew with this marketing crap.

I loved ,hack, and i was sad to hear they ended the series. But now they want to revive it? Milking!? :(

I just hope it won't put the series to shame, that if a new game comes, it will be a great one again!

will give the game a shot for sure, the series was pretty decent.

Worst JRPG series ever IMO! Might like the anime but The game just was silly and the fact they split it up into multiple lil chucks as an excuse to milk people... I just don`t have much excitement for a .hack game. I may change judgement when screens and info come along but as of right now I`m yawning with anticipation.

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
