Yes, she won for The Piano. I actually liked that movie, but could never really understand what was so great about her performance that warranted an Oscar (I mean, I think most 11-year-olds could've pulled that off). Ironically, she agrees with me (according to an interview she gave).

Well, acting modest sure is one of the ways to look like a ''cool celebrity''.As far as you and me know, she might think that her acting was the best possible.

From the article, it didn't really seem like she was acting modest. She was just a kid back then, and I think she found it all pretty confusing. And when shesaw the movie again recently, she was wondering what people found so amazing about that performance, which isn't an odd reaction if you've actually seen The Piano (I for one still can't believe she won an Oscar for that, and she'd have to be seriously delusional to think that that's the best acting performance ever).

I thought I already wrote this but I thought Kirsten Dunst actually did have some skill when she played in Interview with the Vampire! Anyone else think she was perfect for that role. I mention this because she was pretty young as well, and I do not think anyone could have just gone and done that.

Haven't seen that movie, so I can't judge. there was nothing really amazing about Paquin in The Piano though (don't know if you've seen it).

I watched it, but to be honest i barely remember seeing her in the movie. I remember sam neil, the lady from Raising Arizona and barely Keitel.

She was the annoying little kid. I agree. She was barely eve in the movie. I remember at the end of it saying to myself: 'she won an Oscar for thid?!'

Game of thrones. Great acting, story and production values. It helps that they don't hold back and that it's uncensored.

Which character are you looking forward to the most next season? I have already forgotten his name, but I cannot wait for more little person lannister

That is insulting sir! Why should the man be defined by his height?

He challenges you to a sword fight (and he asks someone else to fight in his place ).

I tried picking it up a few times, but never could. Is it one of those shows where you need to watch it from the beginning to get it?

yeah, it has an overall plot so you have to watch it from the begining

Well, it's a show with funny situations. I don't think you have to see it from the beginning to appreciate the humor.

Not quite right. It's Tyrion

Ahhh. Thanks! I will just look the real name up. But he is one of my favorite characters on there.

He's my favorite overall!

1. Dexter : not like another series, the main character is a serial killer!
2. House
3. Breaking Bad

This year

1. Sons of Anarchy
2. Modern Family (the hispanic wife and the fat gay character are starting to get over-the-top annoying)
3. Skins
