What's awesome is the batting strentgh of the England team.

JUST LOOK at their series averages:

JM Anderson -
IR Bell 3 53.80
RS Bopara 7.00
TT Bresnan 77.00
SCJ Broad 60.66
AN Cook 62.80
EJG Morgan 38.60
KP Pietersen 89.50
MJ Prior 3 63.25
AJ Strauss 37.80
GP Swann 18.33

That's all-round perfection. Probably the lowest standard deviation in scores I've ever seen after 3 test matches for such a high overall average.

Poor Bopara. Probably he'll never get a chance again.

All I want to see now is:

Steyn and Morkel vs Trott, Pietersen, Bell, Cook

Amla, De Villiers, Kallis vs Anderson, Broad, Bresnan

Tahir vs Swann

Broad's all round antics might be decisive too.

All round, England have a definite edge, but is the stand-out bowler and can destroy a whole team on any day. Anderson has the same danger, but not as regularly.

England's batting depth is insane, so I think they'll be very tough to beat anwywhere in the world.

Indian Cricket lover since 1996 here. This has been the most one sided test series in a while. Seriously though i have to give credit the English team. They really played well. Cook and Trott are players to watch and Morgan did well too.
There is something to say for the bowling when one of the best batting sides couldn't cross 300 run mark. Congrats again. :)

Who doesn't love Jiminy Cricket!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

That was tremendously painful to watch as an Indian fan. The bowling is weak but the batting has been all sorts of silly, horrible fact that India could not pass 300 even once. Switched it off when Sachin got run out, TBH test cricket is very boring for me and just like watching Sachin bat but ODI's are fun. Hopefully the football is not so painful to watch and Chelsea pummel Stoke City, last season was rubbish for us.

Actually I would say watching Cook and Trott isn't that entertaining, KP is the person who you actually want to watch

I'm from NZ and as such a cricket fan (though not always a supporter of the English). Credit where credits due though, the English have played sublime cricket. The Indians have helped by being completely hapless though.

Dr.Grass you are supposrting SA right? :)

Gonna be really interesting since Gary Kirsten is our new coach...too see if the players perform better with him in charge or if its the same old same old.

Im mostly worried about the SA batting line up, i hope they get things sorted.

OT: Congrats to England, i love when that arrogant indian cricket team loses :P

Yeah I'm a bit disappointed that nothing is scheduled for now... The Aussies are touring here in October and Sri Lanka in December, so there's some good cricket ahead Will be interesting to see if Imran Tahir can be a successful strike bowler for us - definitely something to keep an eye out for...
