You and Leo-J are the only diehard sony boys I've really seen hanging around this site on any regular basis. The numbers are posted up right on the front page, so it's not exactly something that is condusive to those fanboys who just want to be able to say "wooo, sony > nintendo!!!"

OMG I am not a Sony Fanboy. As you can clearly see in my sig, I have an XBOX 360; Not a PS3. I bought my XBOX 360, not a PS3. So therefore, if I could have bought a PS3 but bought a 360, and bought a 360, what qualifies me as a "Sony Fanboy". I don't want to say Sony is better than Nintendo. I want to come to this site, and not feel like if I don't like the Nintendo Wii that I am alone in this world, not that I don't like the Wii, but that's what I want to feel. I really don't care what company wins, I just like playing games.

It is true that the most members on VGCHARTZ are nintendo biased but the site isn't and the numbers are correct.

I want two changes on the rankings:

1)  Guests may not have the ability to vote! (And you need 200 posts before you can vote).

2)  We need an option where we can see who vote what and how much they give.

I agree with Rol. No game over a 9. Can we say that user ratings have failed yet? Can ioi just make a deal with gamerankings and get those numbers instead?

I was just curious to know how many more title Nintendo had then Sony or Microsoft to see if the sheer number of software had anything to do with the one sided rankings.

Heres what Wikipedia says (all numbers are approximate and it includes foreign titles and for the newer systems it stats titles that have been confirmed in production.... so that this with a grain of salt)

I was really surprised to see how close sony is to having the same number of titles as nintendo despite being a lot newer the the game idustry. I realize the PSOne is known for its ridiculous amount of shovelware but the NES is aswell.

All in all im quite surprised that Sony has nothing in the top 100 out of a little over 5000 different games. I personally dont think the xbox brand has a whole lot to offer but i still would have thought at least a few titles would land in the top 100 such as Halo, KOTOR, Fable, Gears of War etc.

The top 13 are all Zelda games, with OoT leading the pack, and LttP and Tp close behind. That is awesome!

It's bull that games like MGS 1-3, GoW 1/2, and SotC couldn't make the top 50, or even the top 100, but at least Zelda is getting proper love. :)

Well its well known fact that the membership is overly pro-Nintendo and that fanboys vote games from competing consoles lower. Combine the two and you have Nintendo dominating the rankings.

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this.

What's even funnier is that the first 13 games are Zelda games and 15 of the first 16 are as well (Galaxy screwing things up).
