That's actually a pretty damn good sized group for representing 1 million in a poll.  Some polls use numbers very similar or only a slightly larger to represent an entire country.

You don't go after everyone, you get a statistical analysis of a group and 6500 people is way above the needed number for a fair statistical analyisis of only 1million.

Is that much people pissed?? Or is it a vocal minority?? Because if you dont own a 3DS this was a good move as its 80 bucks cheaper and if you have one your getting some free games. and if your still pissed, so what?? No one forced you to get a system at launch. What was Ninty supposed to do?? Clearly they were not selling the amount they wanted, so something had to be done

That is a small poll and we don't even know the background of the people questioned. It's inevitable that some people, regardless of Nintendo's efforts will be feeling frustrated by the price cut and that's understandable. Nintendo doesn't have anything to worry about yet though.

Yep, but the surveys/polls online are not the same as an stadistic poll made by a statistician...

Numbers sound just about right....I'd take the news as pretty good actually.

45% say they won't buy or are on the fence about mario and kart.... that also means 55% are sure to be buying (as on the fence is out), .5 tie ratio is an awesome number for a game!!!

One third are pissed... we I can see why. I personnaly have no regret on the 3DS... but I find the ambassador program inadequate and that's what pisses me off. Sure loyal fans... here are games you already played... and we'll take 50% of mario games cause you know... loyal fans probably never played them to death...

Promise of 10 3D remakes would be 100x more swaying imho, even if it's games we already played, at least there'd be a reason to replay them.

I've got to say that I don't take the poll as 100% however I don't think its realistic to count it out just because it isn't polling all one million 3DS owners. Fact is most polls only use stats from a few thousand. Polls on the president or Prime Ministers support don't poll the whole dang country they poll a few people.

Now I'm not sure how the site conducted its poll but I'd say it was probably accurate to a degree. Now is this a reason to think Nintendo is doomed, heck no. But it does give an indication that the current user base is pretty pissed and confirms if accurate that Nintendo has reason to worry about consumers being angry!

Do you expect them to ask all 1 million users? What number would you call as fair? half the amount of users? 6500 is a good average, even a few Sony trolls won't fall much into weight.
