Depends on the type of game you play for FPS mainly online for games such as LBP more single player as it is much better developed than online

single player only for 90% of the games that i play with a 10% exception for games like: Resistance 2 & Tekken 6 and a few others.

Primarily single-player, though I love a good local multi. Online is alright, not something I'm huge into but since most of my gaming friends live too far it's something I'm learning to deal with.
