No date is set in stone but it's supposed to be some time in November this year for NA. I've heard rumblings of it coming out early in 2012 for Europe.

So the '20 free' deal is for everyone worldwide? I know I've got my 3DS and have already picked up te Pokedex 3D and Excitebike, so I imagine that'll cover me!

I mean that since I have that, it means I've registered online, right?  means I don't need to go online anymore, I'm already in the database.

When did you buy it? reread the OP. Almost any store has a 30 day policy that if the price drops, you'll be refunded.

I remember Iwata saying something like that because other companies keep ofering better deals to newcomers. At least nintendo try to keep the early adopters happy giving them 20 games (10 exclusive for early adopters)

I bought it two days before Zelda came out hmm when was that? Lol I will check it out and see if we have the same policy here in Sweden. Thanks for pointing that out :)

Edit: lol I had the receipt in my pocket and it sais 15 of June so too late haha but I am happy that we are getting the 20 free games. Lots of them that I did not play before. Hope they put in Zelda Minish Cap

Every US retailer has a 30 day price protection deal. If the price of the item you bought goes down within 30 days, you can come back to the store and get a refund of the difference.

Meaning, you buy the 3DS now for $250. On August 12th you go back and get a $100 refund.... plus since you bought it and used it before the price cut, you still get the 20 free games.
