Exactly, and No PS3 doesn't have more active users. PS3 has more registered PSN accounts, but the number of active online accounts favors 360. That said, a lot of people play offline, so that can sqew the data, and on XBL you can set up an offline, non XBL account. Those can't be added, which also sqews the data.

Not true. 360 has sold more software on an annual basis every single year since PS3's launch (By 67.5%, 26%, 13.5%, and 4% in the last 4 years). PS3 is ahead of 360 in 2011 by 4%, but Microsoft tends to catch up in the holiday season. As for hardware, PS3 has only become ontop of 360 after 2009 when the Slim was released. If you ever read Mind the Gap by VGC, you will see that at different points in the consoles life 360 and PS3 have been alternating period of stronger sales. After the price cut before the PS3 Slim, 360 grew the gap to 8.1 million. Hardware sales fluctuate, and many analysts (including the ones this thread is based on), believe 360 and PS3 hardware sales for 2011 will be flat.

-33% failure rate is ONLY for first gen non HDMI 360's. HDMI Models have more reasonable fail rates of <3% (can't remember the exact number).

-He only said PS3 has had more. Those games are exclusives in 2005/2006, and well at that time most exclusives on both HD consoles were...bad. Ridge Racer, Full Auto, and Genji for PS3 aren't any better. Go into 2007 games and later, and quality is better. Still 360 had games like Test Drive, Condemned, PGR3, Dead or Alive 4, Prey, Dead Rising, and Blue Dragon in those early years.

Yeah, but if Sony sells more consoles, then it means more money, and if they get more money, we could get more "experimental" games like Heavy Rain, (that turned out to be really good). :D
