Yeah it seems reguardless of the game we can barely get more then 20-25 scores.

Definitely an improvement over the first one. Much more possibilites and therefore more fun. Even the story levels were a lot better than in LBP1.

I guess I'll do my part to help get the game to 15 votes. I picked up LBP2 without playing the first one, and I loved the game. The single-player was quite humorous and entertaining, and I also thought it had some of the most unique platforming elements I've encountered in a game. The online component of the game is just amazing, and I am consistently surprised by the quality of material published by the LBP community . I personally place it within my top 5 PS3 games.

It's everything the first was plus plenty more. Add in some friends, and the game is literally unlimited in its replayability. I've spent countless hours in both games just messing around with friends, not even trying to complete levels. You can't get more fun than that.

However, it's a bit too "epic" for its own good. I found myself getting somewhat frustrated by the constant cutscenes during the story mode, and friends who were new to the game would say things like, "Can we just get back to the game? What the hell is even going on?" Nothing like that happened with the first. It's Super Smash Bros. Brawl syndrome, only worse. Simplicity is key for a game like this.

And I believe this is the first game I've bothered to rate in one of these things lol.

lol if I had played this I'd probably given it a 6 which would be my score for LBP1

I love platformers so I give it a 9.5
It would be a perfect 10 if just the controls weren't so floaty and if the story was a tad bit longer. (Although the number of user generated levels makes up for this.)
