it will be interesting to see if Anonymous tries to do anything to strike back.

Thats not interesting, its terrible. Anonymous should just stop.

Terrible? perhaps, but that doesnt make it any less interesting. do i condone what they do? no, not by any means. certainly nobody should  be allowed to hack private info and do with it what they will. but i still cant help but be interested in what they do. i wasnt trying to sound like i was defending them or anything, just that this whole ordeal should prove interesting from the perspective of how the almighty vigilante hacker group will react to such a blow as having supposed memebers caught by the FBI.

It just sounded like "It will be interesting next time they hack and perhaps ruin someones life".

Like how?  If your identity is blown, you are likely on your own.  Only way fighting back would matter is to work more competently.  I also suggest Anonymous grow up.  "For the lulz" is something individuals need to outgrow.  This is not fun and games here.

i dont know. perhaps Anonymous will just distance themselves from those who were caught and the captured will simply deny everything. or maybe they will launch a futile attack against the FBI or other parts of government to try to protest the arrests. really isnt my place to call. all i said was that it would be interesting if they did try anything. i wasnt saying that they would. and i agree with on the "for the lulz" point.

"For the lulz" is likely going on the way out anyhow.  When you see what is at stake, you quickly learn you better grow up.  Anonymous currently is going after repressive regimes.  The days of 4Chan lulz has to be on its way out.  But, what was encompassed in 4Chan is increasingly at risk of being stamped out.
