Of course it is. Just as I expected.

These lower end games are probably better off on smart phones and Facebook. That said, with the 3DS and performing poorly and PSVs uncertain prospect it might be worth it for publisher to put higher tier games on those platforms and see how they fare.

3DS is doing poorly because of 2 factors according to my eyes.

#1.) Price is way too high for what it is.
#2) Game lineup is incredibly weak.

Problem #2 makes #1 even more apparant.

Just a shame they don't have a decent online service at all ^^

All i know is the 3DS's ability to succeed will lie mostly on First Party games.. I think none of the third party games announced were really worked on properly. I think most 3rd party companies thought the 3DS will ride on the DS's success and launch with a splash (without any big titles) and they would later release them to get a quick cash in. Dont be surprised if some of these games resurface if the 3DS kicks off in the holidays :/

There are too many games for 3DS: they must cancel some to make room!!!  O-) 

I wasn't too concerned about 3DS sales at first because I felt it had the strong 3rd party support going for it and that would be enough, but now it looks like it doesn't even have that, and with Vita coming out, devs may feel that console can have greater potential for them, especially if its sales are strong. If I were Nintendo, I'd be trying to secure some deals with 3rd parties.

Shit, I had no idea they were making a Kororinpa game for the 3DS but if they could pull off the controls it would have been PERFECT!

There is a lot more competition in the portable space today than when the DS was released. There are numerous smartphones, tablets, and other devices that are challenging the stranglehold that Nintendo once had on mobile gaming. Just showing up and expecting people to buy in will not work.
