How exactly did you get those numbers because I know VGchartz undertracks alot of ps3 software, and 360 had a year head start so yea MS is just full of bs
Yes, you can expect the CFO to say nothing different, but i have a feeling that, say, Nintendo would never say "our online is superior to our competitors," when asked a question about their online play.
I agree with Doobie-wop on this one. He could have given a positive answer that doesn't sound like an outright lie

The only thing that could possibly considered a lie in what he said is that they outsell all the other 1st parties. Ninty has that one in the bag.
Quality is entirely subjective. I've had more fun with the 360's 1st party than any other and I own all 3 consoles. But there's going to be many who disagree with me. People are, as always, overreacting. The thing is people can run around with all these "list wars" all they want but that doesn't neccessarily mean anything. Like to me I'll take Halo alone over 10 PS3 or Nintendo titles, but that just cause its my favoirte franchise.
Basically its gonna be different to every person.

Yes, but "our online is superior to our competitors- Nintendo" is a subjective value statement, but would still be considered a disingenuous comment on its face
You could pare that down to subjectivity with a few caveats, or even a few word tweaks, but as it stands, no. Subjective statements can be wrong

As for this year, they both have 1- Gears 3 and SS, as well as a couple lesser titles (Kinect for MS, Wii Play Motion, Xenoblade for Wii). Is it as strong as '08? Not really (but 3rd party was good last year), but it still beats Microsoft's.
