now, my point, which you stubbornly seem to be ignoring, is that the WiiU is still a long way from launch - just as the PS4 and 720 are. The fact that they even announced any games this far from launch is impressive for Nintendo.

Oh, please stop, it's getting worse. First off, games won't matter if you don't like the actual hardware. And we know plenty about that to cast judgement. I already know from the specs I won't be getting one (not that I would have anyway, I don't like any Nintendo console IP)
Secondly, the OP is giving his opinion on what he's seen, which you keep comparing to PS4 and 720. We know the rough specs, the controller output, Nintendos strategy with online, ect, what do we know about PS4 and 720?
