There's only 3 retail exclusives comming out this year, so you could be right and MS is going to advertise this hard and try to get everyone who played it to buy it again, as well as anyone who played any halo game, so you're probably right, would be better if the best selling game was a good one though and not a port of a 10 year old game with outdated mechanics

i might actually buy this game since i never played the first Halo only played a bit of Halo 2.
hmm i have no idea how well a remake will sell but i do not think it will sell more than 4 as not all people who played it before would want to replay it

lol my friend....just wait until the year ends to see what I am talking about. Halo CE is just another game which already came out in HD. It kinda doesn't count for anything on any GOTY list.

Halo: Reach came out like a year ago and it hasn't even reached 10 million units yet, how the hell is a modest remake of a 10 year old game going to outsell a full fledged Halo title, especially in a year jam packed with major releases in the second half. I'm sure the remake will sell very well, but it's not going to blow the world away at release, that's reserved for Halo 4.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Especially with Modern Warfare 3 floating around in the air this year lol.
