Metroid needs a rest.
Star Fox and F-Zero missed out on this gen and its time for games like that to return.

i'm sure we will see it but why a reboot? just a new game or Metroid prime 4

other M is a great game it's the cut scenes that were too long and kind of bad other than that it was a great game!

If they make a new metroid, can it please take place after Fusion? If Fusion writers cramped Metroid that badly where they have no idea how continue scracth it off the list and put something in its place. The Prequels and inter quels are killing me.

Forget about story and timeline, just give us a good Metroid game this time.

Actually that would make sense... Metroid the other M, makes a lot of sense if you played fusion, so a sequel to fusion could be a good idea...

 

 While I loved the prime series, I would like another other m kind of game, the screen on the controller would make the interface a lot better and the same screen could work as the visors or for 1st person view... The VA was not the best, but it was not bad at all...

 Sorry, my scarsm-meter is broken, so I dont know if you are being serious or not...  

 Prime or other m -> both amazing games, so anyone would be fine.
