Forums - Gaming Discussion - Are you importing Xenoblade? Now may be the time to Pre-Order!

Tagged games:

As you all know Nintendo is being a bunch of idiotic fools and is denying their fans of good games such as Xenoblade. I myself have been stalking import websites as of late and I came across a pretty good deal for anyone looking to pick up a copy.

Thehut.com has the standard Xenoblade copy up for only 29.85! That's 25% off for a Pre-Order and best of all FREE shipping. I believe that converts to around 45 dollars in U.S. currency.

Also Game.co.uk has the special bundle up for 49.99 but you have to pay for shipping and that comes out to be pretty expensive over 70 USD.

I want to pre-order the CCPro bundle, but not from GAME. As soon as either Amazon U.K, HMV or Play places it up for pre-order I will pre-order it in an instant.

Who else finds it ironic that the US Amazon website has Xenoblade up for pre-order despite it not being announced for release there, but the U.K Amazon, where it is to be released in September doesn't yet.

Good point MrT-Tar...I'll be pre-ordering my copy VEEERY soon!

For you Americans- why not wait? It'll come eventually...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Ryan, you will need to mod your wii if you want to play import games on a US console.

This is one of the few times it's an advantage being in the UK - I will pick up this game from my local store when it releases over here.

And if we import it we can play it on america consoles? I bought Jean claude van damme behind closed doors reality tv show and it is region locked on my dvd player/

It is possible to play it on a NTSC Wii but you either have to hack it with homebrew or do a hardmod. Personally i'm using the homebrew now.

Do you have an estimate on the delivery date when you will receive Xenoblade? I'm just asking because I heard from others who imported from the TheHut.com that their delivery is slow.

I'm not sure because I have never used them before but it does say on the Pre-Order page that you should get it on release day.

I'm going to hold out until winter time to see if they cave in, but that deal is very tempting, games are expensive as hell in Pal regions
