Yes you're the only one hating on Zelda.... asshole -.-

But seriously just play through the first dungeons and it will get better especially towards the end

If you knew how to read OPs instead of rushing into a hate post you would know I don't hate Zelda.

I should've mentioned i was joking :P

I mostly remember it getting much better towards the end. So I'd suggest you just scrape through those first parts to get to the good stuff

Its your fault for having it in the first place.

does anybody have a stick to throw?

anyway i thought the game was great actually. if people just want action right away then it is not for them.

lol just remembered the E3 show when they first revealed the game. amazing i almost cried of happiness. ;-;

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I'm playing through it right now and I just got to the Goron/Death Mountain dungeon. I haven't played this game since 2006 and I've forgotten so much about it. I'm in no rush to beat the game since that first playthrough so I'm really soaking the game up.

Graphics: Look like shit, now. It looked pretty cool when I played it on the Gamecube. It's crazy how faced this thing aged! I think Ocarina of Time on the 3DS looks better.

Sound: The grunts and groans really seem out of place, now. When I demonstrated the sword to those kids, it sounded like a porno! The music is as good as ever, though.

Gameplay: I didn't have much of a problem with Ocarina of Time on the 3DS but Twilight Princess plays like a dream!! This game feels great and I hope that Skyward Sword feels just as good. I wouldn't even mind having a controller option. (I have the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess, btw,)

Fun Factor/Immersion: Maybe I was just in the mood for more Zelda after finishing OoT 3D but this game has sucked me in more than any other game I've purchased this year. I guess it's a good thing that this is a slow time for gaming, for me. If it weren't, Twilight Princess would be sitting on my shelf gathering dust, still. The presentation may be dated but the variety, gameplay, atmosphere, characters, and fun are as good now as they were five years ago. People said this was just a graphically better version of OoT but I don't see it. This game is hitting on all cylinders. I can't wait to get back to it.

And why do people always think the story of Zelda games is "Zelda gets kidnapped. Link saves her with the Tri-Force"? After playing OoT 3D and going back to play Twilight Princess, I have to wonder. Is that EVER the main story in Zelda games? Maybe Link to the Past, but even then, there was a lot more going on. Anyway, Twilight Princess. A game made in 2006 is the 2011 game of the year.

Peace.

I have it as well. Not nearly as good as Wind Waker imo.

I should have replayed Wind Waker first. I think that I'll be Zelda'd out by the time I finish Skyward Sword, though. God, I love this series!!

At first I thought this was gonna be a negative review with the graphics and sound and all. Though I just remebered that those are the only things that age. Also Zelda has the same story as mario just it add more.  Zelda should get better guards

(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Biggest pikmin fan on VGchartz I won from a voting poll
I am not a nerd. I am enthusiast.  EN-THU-SI-AST!
Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

So did you play it?
Best game this gen (& last gen ) IMO

I liked it a lot.... though less than Majora's and Ocarina. Still great.

Actually, I think each Zelda story is pretty good and can stand on its own.

-In Twilight Princess, Zelda hasn't been kidnapped (yet).  She's just presiding over the Twilight World.  I really can't remember anything about the story anymore, though.  It's a shame and a blessing that I don't remember it because it seems quite epic so far.

-In Wind Waker, Zelda was actually *SPOLIER* Tetra the pirate.  Hyrule was flooded and, again, the story was quite unique.

-In Majora's Mask, the story was quite deep and involved the Skull Kid, and the moon crashing to earth.  No Zelda at all (as far as I can remember)

-Ocarina of Time, Link traveled back and forth in time trying to assemble some mages to take out Ganon.  Zelda was actually *SPOILER* Sheik the whole time.

-Link to the Past, Zelda did eventually get kidnapped but that wasn't really the point of the story.  It was about saving the light world by taking Ganon out in the dark world.

-Minish Cap, Oracle of Time/Seasons, etc., I either didn't play or only have a vague recollection of their story.  Still, the Zelda stories are pretty diverse and pretty epic.  We just seem to forget them (or I do) because we focus so much on the gameplay and the dungeons.
