Hey Everyone.   :)

I wanted to talk about life and how unqiue it is in our world. So many things have happened in earth in order for life to evolve where it is now. I mean we are the only planet in our solar system where it is not too hot or cold. We have a moon that stabliezes are gravity. And according to many scientist when the earth was forming another planet collided with earth and it absorbed it's Iron core making the gravity on Earth stronger for us not to float or fly away whenever we jump.

So the question at hand is will we ever find life outside of Earth?? The vastness of the universe is literally infinite. Everyday space expands more and more and there are Billions of galaxies with billions of stars in them. So with so many stars out in our universe there has to planets orbiting some of them and i am pretty sure there is some form of life outside of our planet.

That being said life could have also vanished before we as humans even came to existance on earth. I mean there are also many things in the Universe that could EASILY destroy life in just a matter of seconds. Dark holes, Super Novas, Hyper Novas, Quasars, and Asteroids have been known to completely wipeout any form of life in its path.

So when (if ever) do yall think we will find life on other planets?? Will it be the near future or the distant future or will we never find life outside of our planet and always be left wondering if we really are the only living things in the universe???

Let your opinion be heard.    :)

Good thread I know their will be some arguments in this even thou it's %100 opinions no facts but that's how it is.

I always think about questions like - Is there justice outside planet earth?, Is there an alternative universe like our which everyone is wearing cowboy hats? and what does the other life forms in the universe think about the Wii U? Too early? Or to late?

So many questions!

Anyone who's breaking the law is obvious a criminal.

its the quest but i don't know

from the time i started questioning life, its been tough

if GOD made man who made god

if BIG BANG happened because of nitrogen and hydrogen colliding, where did they come from

Hard to say for we may never have idea on how common life is. Studing a bit of abiogenesis, I'm of the opinion life is very, very rare indeed.

Based on my own crappy, almost completely unscientific estimates, I'd say five to eight solar systems in your Milky Way are currently harboring life, with humankind likely being the most technologically advanced of those.

Maybe something carried away by earthly dust could grow and even evolve in Mars or Titan, or one of the galilean moons. Would that count as alien life?

That being said, someone could point me good sci-fi based on mankind colonizing the galaxy only, with no or primitive alien life at most? Out from games, only Dead Space has something close to it.

I really hope we find intelligent life, things are getting pretty boring around here.

I did the maths on it just there and we should receive some sort of contact from another alien lifeform in the next 20 years.

I do think we will find life. When and where, I have absolutely no clue. I also think there is life much more "advanced" than us. Seriously think about it, there are billions of galaxies, with billions of stars in each galaxy. I just comprehend that there isn't something greater out there.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Nope. For once i thought it could be but now i don't think that it's going to happen. We know all the planets that are near to our earth. None of them is capable of producing life forms. Sure there are the other planets we don't know of. But the travel time to those other planets would be ridiculous long. They are light years apart. We wouldn't survive such a journey.

I think we are bound to sooner or later, as our technology keeps improving without slowing. But I feel like we'll limit ourselves with the constricts of our own problems like the current economic one that it'll be an uphill battle to put funds towards space exploration. We have to sort out our own shit before we have the ability, the funds, and the will to go out and look for other civilizations, and that could take awhile.

Eventually yes space is just too big and there's way to many other places for there not t be any life.

That being said the expanse of Space is what hinders us from finding any other life currently and it will take huge advancements in tech before we actually are able to locate let alone communicate with any alien life.

But eventually it will indeed happen.......which could either end up amazing or horrible depending on what we encounter. As Halo Reach says, " The stars are filled with Wolves "
