I don't think I've ever seen so much fail in one post before...

real gamer?... Does that even exist?...

Only if you are playing COD, Halo, or Gears on Xbox Live 80% of the time - do you have the right to call yourself a real gamer.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

in the kaufhof chain ninty games are with the toys, the other two are with electronics.

much better imo.

NINTENDO FANS OF VGC, after re-reading this thread, and going through his profile, I can conclude that this thread is a 100% genuine joke. You may put away your pitchforks and torches, and stop rage commenting the guy. On his profile, it says he hates Sony, so why would he suddenly praise them?

The article wasn't written by vaio. It was written by Marielle Elie (Boston Girl Gamer).

However Family Feud, Monster Jam, Tron, Hello Kitty are a nice choice of games to prove a point. The highest selling of these games is Family Feud. According to vgchartz it sold 550.000. Which means 0,63 % of Wii-Owners bought it. Very representative.

I call my toaster oven a toy, but my retailer put it in the kitchen/home section. It was kind of hard to find it through the toys section.

It was obvious that she was trolling Sony and MS calling them "real gamers", but it seems that almost nobody notice this.

I remember when I was a kid, the videogame section was IN the toy section. Go down the aisle past SNES, PS, Saturn, and N64 and you find board games and action figures. It's only more recently that they found acceptance in electronics instead.

haha, that brings back memories. i used to get my nes/genesis games in toysrus and i remember the video games were right across the aisle from board games in glass cases and you had to get those tickets and bring them to the register to get a game, then you had to bring the ticket with reciept to a window where a guy would sit and get the games from shelves behind him. haha, it was always magic to me when i would peek in that window and see all those games just sitting there.

My Toys'r'Us still does that with the tickets.

no way, where is your toysrus? i would love to see those tickets again

Minnesota...it is slightly different than you explained, because you don't go with the guy to go get the game, you just sit at the cash register, but the whole ticket idea is still used.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

the video was fun but i don't get why Sony has Snake in there as it is not their IP :P

as for the article i agree that games are some sort of toys but stating that there are no hardcore games on Wii is the stupidest thing ever. where do these people live? under a rock?
