Well, I thought Resistance 2 was a disappointment and a major step down from Resistance 1(Regen and two weapon limit?! What the hell Insomaniac ?). I still haven't played Reach but I liked every single Halo so it looks like it's abstained from me.

IMO Reach only loses points for not having MC as the main protagonist. However I love Reach almost as much as Halo 2 which was my most played Halo game before Reach. Storywise Reach is up there with the best Halo games but the best part is no Flood. Resistance doesn't seem all that special to me and some of that games fans would even agree with me. Well they will be scrapping the two weapon limit for Resistance 3. I guess they listened to the fans complaints and will be making this more along the lines of the 1st Resistance.

Yeah, I heard about that. That's why I'm still kinda interested in R3. I want to see what they'll do with the weapon customization mechanic they talked about.

RE3 looks too much like COD for me to enjoy. Unless this game doesn't get a 91+ meta I won't be getting it.

That's pretty harsh don't you think? I mean if they can keep the great things people loved from the 1st and 1nd Resistance and get a pretty good balance I would think that would be worth it. I mean any game with functional online coop is at least worth a solid playthrough and RE2 did 8 players. If they fix some of the issues in 3 then it should be a blast. As for leaving it in the hands of reviewers I disagree with that. I'm not even a Resisitance fan but I think every game deserves a fair shake, especially if the developer is known for great games already.

Look at the RE3 gameplay on youtube. It's way too much like COD. I'll surely try it out but if I don't like it or feel it's gonna be too much like COD. It doesn't get my money. Anyways I'm gonna be playing Gears all through Septemeber. So I probably won't have time for RE3. Then in Novemeber I'll start playing Uncharted 3 until a decade later when it actually gets boring. But anyways I have a handfull of Sony games that I'm playing right now GT5 and Killzone 3 just won't get old :) That's why RE3 most likely won't get my money.
