Not much forensic evidences the prosecutor can use against her . But she did act odd or guilty during this whole thing like.
Not calling the cops for a month when her daughter "disappeared", partying during that time, and making up a name of a babysitter that never existed and say she kidnapped her daughter. The rotten pizza in the car which her mom said "smelled like a decomposing body".

I say she's GUILTY.

At the end justice hasen't been served here sad this is just like the O'J trial.

I agree with you. I feel like she got off the loose end. Oh well, justice always strikes those who are wrong in one way or another. I just hope she never has a child again. Poor little girl.

Lolz America's justice system is a piece of shit.

Why?  Would you rather we just locked up everybody accused of a crime?

We have the absolute best justice system. (though far from perfect)  We do not have the best laws or prison system - this is an important distinction.

And nobody should ever, ever, say the justice system is bad because somebody they think is guilty goes free.  "better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer"  This is the beauty of our justice system.

Plus, you don't know what went on in that courtroom, or that jury room.  You don't have any more evidence than the media showed you.  You have no right to form an opinion on this case - you weren't there!

It seems to me that this is a simple case of "Beyond a reasonable doubt."  While it seems likely that she is guilty, it is not certain.  Therefore, she should not be sent to prison.

Open your eyes, NOTHING can be certain, you have to find the fine line between guilty and not guilt, this woman was way past it.

You probably don't even know anything about the justice system in other countries, why are you being so defensive, do you just like to tell yourself and other people that America has the best justice system as an excuse to wave the American flag? In any other country she would have been locked away.

You keep implying that this woman could be innocent, the bottom line is, if you wait 30 days before reporting your missing daughter, you are guilty of something, that is ignoring the countless other peices of evidence.

And so what if we weren't in the court room, we were given the evidence by the press, the irony is we could WATCH the court case on the internet, my sister watched the whole thing.

This is like OJ simpsom case ... just reversed. We all know damn well she killed or had something to do with the death of daughter. Its obvious, I cant believe she got away.

It's not so much that I disagree about the ruling, I do think there was a lack of evidence against her. But there are many other trials and other bogus imbalances in our legal system that make me want to say something like that, not just this case by itself.

this is just sad. a murderer goes free once again.

I was absolutely shocked she was found not guilty:
I mean she lied to the her own family about the nanny and her universal studios job(which she was fired from 2 years ago...prior to her arrest)
didn't notify anybody about Calee's disappearance for 31 DAYS!!!
the first day of Calee's disappearance(or death, determined by decomposing) she went out clubbing/shopping/spending the whole day with her boy friend
lead the police on a wild goose chase saying her imaginary nanny kidnapped her.
decomposing smell in the her own car.
those emotionless calls from jail(cursed out her own mother)
she(or atleast the defense) claimed the both her father and brother sexually molested her.
on her computer the word chloroform(including how to make it) was searched 84 TIMES on google
let alone she didn't even testify.

how could the jury see/hear this and not atleast see she had something to with Calee's disappearance/death.
like one reporter said "we have a death of a child and no one's responsible?"

Yea this case is crazy.

In America, unlike other places, its "Innocent until proven guilty".

Yes, in this case its aggravating as there was tons of circumstantial evidence pointing to her killing her daughter. However, it was just that -circumstantial. The prosecution did a horrible job of throwing everyone at Casey and didn't try to make the case simple, and provide the best evidences. When you do that, your not going to have a fantastic go as the defense can poke holes in the circumstantial evidence.

Is the American justice system flawed? Yes. But I still believe that, overall, it provides good outcomes. Eventually, the court of public opinion will have its day against Casey, and we will find justice somehow, some way.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

She comes from $$$money$$$ so she was able to fight the case.
