This past E3 Kojima announced the sweet Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS3 and Xbox 360. The HD Collection includes Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker all in beautiful HD with achievements/trophies and Transfarring (on the PS3 version). 

Well now we know how much this must have collection is going to cost: A very affordable $49.99.

Not a bad deal for what are essentially 3 great games in HD.

IDK i already got MGS2 and 3 in there subsistence versions after buying there standard version yrs prior and beat them %100 stealth camo all collectables im not really feeling all these remakes it was fine with GOW b/c it released prior to gow3.  Now you got a whole bunch of these remakes releasing RE, MGS, ICO, and SH pretty much all around the same time, for MGS and the RE remakes im afraid it may be the case of to little to late.  Not to mention they got trophies i like trophies and all but during the holiday period im gonna want to spend my time with new current games like UC MW3 BF3 ect. then trophy hunting 5+ yr old games. 

how do you feel about the price and remakes in general?

Yes i will be buying both the MGS collection and Zone of the enders collection. Day 1 purchase for both. :)

I've played both MGS2 and MGS3 but that was years ago, and I haven't played Peace Walker. And I heard Peace Walker has some pretty fun multiplayer. I don't mind that it's $50, it's still worth the value. I wonder if there will be trophies/achievements for getting Big Boss ranking.

Definetely not, I do not re-buy games I already own.

That said I REALLY want Peace Walker on my PS3 for the second joystick....will they be selling just peace walker on its own?

its still uncertain if the MGS 2 and 3 will have all the content of the Substance and Subsistence editions, im sure the 3d camera from 3 will be in dont know if PWs online will be in either as those splinter cell remakes didnt include online

Yeah its been SOOOOOOO long since I played MGS2 and 3 and I sold my PSP before I had a chance to play Peach Walker. I just really wish they could have somehow put the original on here.

That and the satisfaction of seeing Metal Gear Solid on my achievement list on my 360

But honestly I'm far more excited for the Zone of the Enders Collection. ZOE2 was just about my favoite PS2 game next to Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy X.

Hell yeah! AND I'm getting MGS3 for the 3DS (marking my third and fourth time owning MGS3). I am Solid Snake's bitch.

Yep, mainly for Peace Walker though. Already played MGS2 & 3 but willing to play them again
