The first game I ever played was, I believe, Megaman 2, which isn't a bad first game in terms of quality, but damn it was hard.

As far as I can remember it was Pacman for the Atari 2600. But I remember seeing one of those dedicated Atari Pong consoles in my home, so maybe that was the first.
um, i think it was Crash Bandicoot. well thats as far back as i remember anyway
I can't remember if it definitely was my 1st game or not, but my earliest gaming memories go all the way back to the arcades in the mid 80s... I'd play Arkanoid with my dad all the time... he'd work the analog knob or track ball thingy, depending on which cabinet version it was, and whenever he got the laser powerup I'd spam away on the "fire" button like a madman. That, Pole Position and Ms. Pac Man were my favorite arcade games and earliest ones that I can remember.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Oh snap River Raid, how could I forget that one?!? lol... I actually never owned a copy of that game, only played it a couple times at my cousins' house but they got rid of most of their Atari stuff once they got an NES.
