I don't know about that. Maybe on the Vgchartz yes, but in the real world I'm pretty sure the Gears series has the Uncharted series beat in a popularity contest. If I looked up the number of Gears 3 beta players and compared them to uncharted 3 beta players I don't even think it would be close.  Just look at the pre-orders for both games. 

you are right Gears is definitely bigger than Uncharted, but Uncharted is huge too.

i dont know how many people played the Gears beta, but 3 days ago Naughty Dog said over 600,000 unique players played in the beta, so obviously that number is bigger now, especially since the beta is now public

Definitely. If there is any game that can go head-to-head with Gears, it's Uncharted. About those Beta numbers for Reach and Gears 3. 1.29 million people in gears 3 beta and 2.7 million for Reach.    

do you know who had access to the gears and halo betas. for Uncharted the first week was open to just psn plus and inFamous purchasers. now its available to everyone.

You needed Halo 3:ODST to access the Reach beta and you either needed to buy Bulletstorm or Pre-order Gear 3 to access the Gears 3 beta. 


No they were both free. Halo Reach beta went free on the first day that's why 1 million users downloaded it.

Reach beta never went free and neither did Gears 3 beta. They did allow Silver members play the Reach beta the last 3 days, but you still needed ODST to play it so it was never free.

Am sure Gears of War 3 MP Beta is good (Not played it).....But UC3 MP is the most refined Beta i have ever played, the final game has so much promise to be amazing!
