A lot more powerful than the previous generation? did anybody notice this?

Yeah i noticed, but he could be talking about only nintendo from previous generation with the Wii, but who knows, i hope he means all of the consoles.

Yeah I thought he might have meant it that way but deep inside I want him to mean all of them :P

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Considering that Nintendo are apparently letting devs build their own online infrastructure Gabe liking the system isn't surprising, he hate the PS3 until Sony let Vavle add steamworks to portal 2. And I guess the new dev kits that were rumoured to be shipping out this week really were significantly higher clocked than the hardware they had at E3.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

i really hope wii u is at least 50-200% more powerful than the current gen. Newell mentioned that the Wii U has good scalability. That is a very good thing... if it can handle ports of current PC games then it will handle ports of next-gen xbox/playstation as well.

I'm glad Nintendo is finally on the good side of some of these developers. Steam/valve is a keystone developer to be on good terms with.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Hey, it's a start, right? The more games the better!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

You're all wrong, Nintendo already released the scale long time ago. Google WiiFit and you'll see.

The original Portal as well as HL2 and pretty much the entire Orange Box could have been ported to the Wii since HL2 (which every other game in TOB was based off of) was ported to the original Xbox, and we know that the Wii is more powerful than it.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Interested =/= We will have a game for the Wii U..

Sorry that I sound so negative but damned in 2007 we had hundred developpers who were interested in the Wii..

Examples:

Kojima not interested in HD but is interested in the Wii!!

http://www.destructoid.com/kojima-interested-in-wii-pooh-poohs-hd-29068.phtml

Valve interested in the Wii! Portal for Wii coming?

http://www.wiinintendo.net/2007/10/29/portal-for-wii/

To name just a few..

I've been looking for that damn Kojima Article. Those devs spat at Wii owners and gave us hope for new 3rd party games and we pretty much didn't get anything from Kojima at all. I wont believe what a dev says until I actually see some footage.

I've learnt to not always trust third parties, but this is exciting nonetheless

I'll wait for them to actually develop a game before I judge. However, I want to see what Epic has to say.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
