I'm good at cooking, but I hate doing it unless I'm cooking with a girlfriend or something. Cooking for myself is meh.

I can cook, yes, but mostly just "Pre-heat the oven and cook for 20 minutes at gas mark 7" other than that I am something of a wayward wizard in the kitchen, in that I 'throw' random things together and they work atleast 50% of the time. although I must say I am actually good at baking, maybe because at the end of that you get a usually much more apreciable product :|

More or less this. I can cook good pasta (real pasta, full spaghetti and meatballs meal), invented my own garnish for steak (though i can't grill a steak), and i can make cajun shrimp, hamburgers, eggs, pancakes, and can bake a little, but nothing too elaborate

try steaks in the broiler. Takes like 10 minutes (5 minutes each side), and it always comes out juicy.

While it's not over an open flame, it IS under one! For your health!

lol, you probably won't enjoy at them moment, but when you look back on it it always seems funny, when my family gets together for the holidays the story of how my cake blew up in the oven always comes up!
