I think so. Most people think that infamous being free on psn will increase infamous sales. Although I disagree. Most people would like to beat the first infamous and then after a while get infamous 2. But by that time there will be great games like Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3 and BF 3 on the PS3 and most people will ignmore a game like Infamous 2 which got a lower rating than it's prodesser. Maybe it can get the legs Infamous got but it won't get like around 5 million sales as some people were talking about. If people really like it then maybe it can get a LT of 3 million. So what's your opinon in all this?

there is an LONG time until Uncharted cod and bf come out and not much going on in june other than infamous and duke nukem (which sucks) so if you are playing ps3 you are going to be most likely giving Infamous an go. While not everyone would play it to the end, there would be an few would would love and finish it and want more and will get Infamous 2.

Your points are flawed because there is 4-5 months before those games come out.

well i downloaded infamous from the store and although id never heard of it before, makes me want the second game. I will definitely be buying the game as infamous 1 really got me interested. I don't think it will push sales down at all instead it will increase them as it draws those who wouldn't have bought the game into the series as it did with me. Also i wont be getting COD, Uncharted 3 or Battlefront 3 as i don't like uncharted and COD is way too overarrated. BF3 just isn't for me either but i am looking forward to twisted metal :P

Unless you can find me three people that said it would do 5 million, or even 4 million, then your entire post is flawed

there was a thread that siad infamous 2 could sell over 5 million because Infamous 1 was coming free to PSN.

I just finished infamous 2, I feel its only a small improvement over the original. Since I loved the original, i loved the sequel, but I don't see it drawing in new crowds.

I can only see it helping Infamous 2 sales.

Who the hell takes 4 to 5 months to beat Infamous? Hell, my little bro beat that game in 4 days.

well i got it for free and im going to now buy the seqquel because of it
